New Material for the weekend...
The latest update on carlrwilliams.com includes a press photo of a wanted flyer for cocaine King Pablo Escobar, a very rare wanted poster for a group of West German urban guerrillas and an equally rare poster from a street intervention by the Situationist flavoured artist Kendell Geers, There is also a little packet of material from some expelled Situs, a festive card from the anti-art group BANK, Michael Landy's inventory of 'Breakdown' a neo-auto-destructive art project and the beautiful Pilot issue of art-zine Frieze with a Damien Hirst cover.
The update also includes Hirst again in the form of the catalogue for the group show 'Modern Medecine' as well as a curious little rude artist's book issued by Peer Gallery, a rare and huge Spanish Civil War poster by Rivero Gil from the ultra leftist POUM faction that has been in this cataloguer's possession for a few decades, as well as Annenkov's arresting little satire of artistic holy cow Pablo Picasso in his role as Stalin's portraitist. I have also uploaded a signed copy of Hexen 2.0, Suzanne Treister's out of print monograph on a very pertinent conceptual art project. The whole group is available through here or the 'Cocaine Orgasm' above.
