Please can we remind parents/carers that if your child is going to be absent from school for an appointment then we will need to be informed of this prior to them being absent.
If you have a letter from hospital/dentist etc then please bring it to the office so they can take a copy of it.
If you do not have a letter but it is a pre booked appointment then you need to inform the office prior to the appointment taking place please.
Any absences due to illness must be reported to the school office by 09.30 on the first day of your childs absence – please speak with a member of staff in the office by telephone after 0830 in the morning to advise them of the reasons for the absence.
The office will then advise you if you need to call school each morning subsequently dependant on the illness.
It is especially important that you speak with the office if it is a COVID related absence rather than leaving a message on the answerphone.
Many thanks

Today is the last day Miss Randall is working at Crudgington School. She has been here as a supply teacher since September.
The children and staff have all loved working with Miss Randall and we wish her lots of luck in her future teaching career which we are sure will be very successful.
The children from all classes made cards for Miss Randall and the staff purchased some flowers and treats to say thank you for her hard work.
Make sure you come back and visit us when you can Miss Randall !!
From all of us here at Crudgington

Good afternoon
On 12th November we sent home some plastic folders containing two exercise books and a three page letter detailing the schools Remote Learning Code of Conduct
We are still outstanding a high number of the Code of Conduct return forms which are on the back page of the letter which is contained within the plastic folder. These need to be completed and signed by all parents/carers
Please can these be returned by the end of this week as we are still outstanding more than 50% of the returns
Many thanks for your support

Saturday 5th December- Friends Christmas Raffle Draw
This will be done virtually and shown on the Friends Facebook page.
There are still a few tickets available if you require any more let me know in the office.
Wednesday 9th December – School Christmas Lunch
This year the children will have their Christmas lunches in their classrooms instead of in the school hall.
The cost of the meal is £2.25 – if your child pays for school meals then you will need to pay online at Telford and Wrekin school meals for this meal in advance of the day.
If your child has not chosen a school dinner you will need to send them with a home packed lunch that day as the school kitchen will not be serving any other hot meals or sandwiches that day.
Friday 11th December – Christmas Jumper Day
On this date the children are able to come in their own clothes (mufti day) wearing their Christmas jumpers/tops to support Save The Children – the donation for this is £1.00 per child.
Please send the children in with their donation – there will be collection buckets in each class- there will be a collection bucket at Breakfast club for any children there on that day also. This is so that the children can drop the money in as they come into school.
Please do not send the money in an envelope.
Friday 18th December -Last day of term
We break up for the Christmas holidays on this date. We return to school on Tuesday 5th January 2021 – Monday 4th January is a PD day so the children are not in school on that date.
Many thanks
