COVID-19 Tier 3 Resurgence Mitigations
The State of Illinois has moved to Tier 3 resurgence mitigations to control the spread of the virus. It is of the utmost importance that we each do our part to prevent COVID-19 from spreading in our community by taking the following precautions:
  • wear a mask
  • wash your hands
  • practice social distancing
  • avoid gathering in groups
  • stay home if you have symptoms.
View Tier 3 COVID-19 mitigation information on the State of Illinois' website. The Village of Winnetka relies on the Cook County Department of Public Health and the State of Illinois for case statistics.

Signs of IDES fraud include the following:

  • You are notified by your employer that a claim for benefits has been filed when you have not been separated from employment.
  • You attempt to file a claim online and one already exits.
  • You receive IRS correspondence regarding unreported UI benefits.
  • You receive notice of a State or Federal tax offset.
