What happens to materials we recover from e-waste

Dear <<First Name>>,

One of the persistent questions we get is “What happens to all the materials recovered from recycled electronics?”

With Circular Economy becoming slowly yet surely a buzzword we thought it was the right time to introduce our material streams more intimately. (Read our comprehensive article below.👇)

This months' newsletter is packed with exciting events - some for you to drop off your old electronics, others to give you an opportunity to learn more about the Circular economy and exciting collabs happening in Perth.

We hope to see you there. 👋

What happens to materials we recover

Before we dive into the major material streams, it’s important to mention that there are over 90 different types of materials used in electronics. And contradictory to a popular belief, it’s not all precious gold and easily sold copper.
Learn what we do with materials.

Statistics - October 2020

Overall in October, we recovered 256,341 kg of materials. Ferrous metals were the biggest part accounting for 114.9 tonnes.
