HOPE HOUSE

Hope House is a successful non-profit, overcoming addiction program located at 900 Washington Street, Ravenswood, under the direction of Jason and Misty Adkins, and continues to experience accelerated growth.

Hope House brings together the community/county to heal our hurting addicted with overarching care, successfully restore and reintroduce, and assist children subjected to addiction's harms.

Hope House works in concert with Jackson County Drug Court, Law enforcement, QRT, Jackson County Ministerium, and other local-regional programs.

Hope House currently relies totally on donations and fund raisers to cover operational costs. Hope House is renting its current location and has quickly outgrown it. There is an old 12 room hotel in Ravenswood that is being used as low-income housing in our community that the owner desires to sell. Additionally, there are other potential buildings that could be acquired that would provide the space needed.

Hope House desires to purchase the old hotel, or one of the other available buildings/houses, to transform it into an addiction care, sober living house. Our board members and grant writers have researched funding opportunities through benevolent foundations and grants opportunities, and have made application. However, available grant funding seems to provide only for renovations/upgrades to addiction care facilities that already own their building/s.
  1. Honored to work with families willing to care for infants/children, while addicted parent/guardian completes successful detox.
  2. Offers a safe location for appointed supervised visitations.
  3. Provides a small facility for our recovering engaging faith-based 12 step programs, supervision in parenting, and re-entry life-skills.
  4. Envisions - a larger facility capable of multi-persons recovery, sober living.
