Here's What One of Our Most Recent Participants Have to Say...

"Each session of the Board Chairs Academy has been thought-provoking, challenging, and constructive. I applaud Third Sector Company for their quick and innovative adaptation during the Covid-19 pandemic that retained so much of the valuable interaction and real-time application of understanding. I would recommend this course to anyone who wishes to take up the challenge of becoming a truly strategic board."

MORE ABOUT BOARD CHAIRS ACADEMY:
Board Chairs Academy is a six-month online learning and virtual community experience to help board members of charitable organizations, associations and congregations excel at providing strategic governance to their favorite causes.

Each module begins with a 90-minute online presentation accompanied by a participant guide of handouts, readings and exercises. Specific assignments are suggested to the participants in order to apply the concepts in the next two-week period, to allow for reflection of applied concepts in that topic module. Each module concludes with a second 90-minute online session that provides a brief review of the topic, invites discussion about the assignments, and uses small and large group interaction for participants to share their learning.

For more detail about each session, view or download the Fact Sheet.

We acknowledge and honor the fundamental value and dignity of all people; and we pledge our individual and organizational efforts to build respect, dignity, caring, and equitable treatment for all. We encourage those from historically underserved communities to apply.
