Welcome to Worship 25th November

Welcome to our worship on the last Wednesday of the churches year.
This coming Sunday is Advent Sunday and the start of a new liturgical year.

Remember the church is open weekdays 9:00am to 9:30am for private prayer.

To mark the end of the liturgical year, we have a sung service of compline.
Compline is usually the last service of the day.

Prayer at the heart of our faith

Stir up, O Lord,
the wills of your faithful people;
that they,
plenteously bringing forth the fruit of good works,
may by you be plenteously rewarded;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen

Pray for the Homeless

God of compassion,
your love for humanity was revealed in Jesus,
whose earthly life began in the poverty of a stable
and ended in the pain and isolation of the cross:
we hold before you those who are homeless and cold
especially in this bitter weather.
Draw near and comfort them in spirit
and bless those who work to provide them
with shelter, food and friendship.
We ask this in Jesus' name.
Amen.
