Bank

• Money Matters Classes continue to be offered online.  Register for these free classes here. 

Programs

• Young AmeriTowne construction continues!  The downstairs "classroom" area, storage areas, and break-room are currently off-limits to staff.  The projected completion date is early in 2021.
• Young AmeriTowne and International Towne have each held a few sessions with a small number of students.  Future sessions are dependent on guidelines from local and state health officials.
• Did you know that Young Americans Center offers Girl Scout Badge Classes?  These are available for all levels of scouts from Daisies to Ambassadors.

YouthBiz

• Plan to do at least some of your holiday shopping at YouthBiz Marketplace!  This event is being held online this year from Friday, November 27 through Sunday, December 6. 

Development

• Colorado Gives Day is coming up on Tuesday, December 8!  This state-wide celebration of philanthropy encourages people to "give where they live" and support local nonprofits, like Young Americans Center for Financial Education.  Gifts can be scheduled in advance and will be matched by an incentive fund generously provided by FirstBank and Community First Foundation, two Young Americans Center partners.
• Shopping this holiday season on Amazon?  Be sure to use Amazon Smile and select Young Americans Center for Financial Education as your charity!  Amazon donates 0.5% to us.  These donations add up!
• Calling all mask makers: Our partner Children’s Hospital Colorado needs many more kid-sized face coverings! Please help us reduce coronavirus transmission and protect vulnerable groups by donating today. Here’s how to ship and deliver handmade coverings to the hospital.

Accounting

• Claudia Caro’s last day will be December 3^rd. We appreciate her work with us over the past 6 months and wish her well in her future endeavors!
• Please join us in welcoming Justina Ramirez as our new accounting intern!  Justina is currently earning her accounting certificate from Emily Griffith Technical College and will be assisting us with the accounting administrator duties.  Justina starts December 7^th so be sure to stop by to introduce yourself.
