For avid DogTrekkers, late summer and early fall have been difficult, to say the least. Coming on the heels of the ongoing pandemic, fires throughout the state have impacted many Californians with some of the worst air quality in the world!
We want to thank all of you for the support you have provided to our local rescue adoption partners who have stepped up to not only bring animals out of fire-area shelters in order to make room for critters who have been forced out of their homes, but to do the heavy lifting of intake and caring for animals within fire zones.
In addition, the Red Cross and United Way in Southern California, Bay Area, Wine Country and Central Coast, and Wine Country and Northern California are key organizations to rapidly support individuals, families, and communities that been displaced or impacted by these fires.
