Happy Thanksgiving!

Thank you to all our residents and fellows. The Office of GME is so honored to have all of you here in Buffalo - learning, working, and caring for members of our community. We recognize the sacrifices you are making during this pandemic, and acknowledge that the holidays will include celebrations and also challenges. We hope you all had a very Happy Thanksgiving and that your holiday was celebrated in the most special way!

Medical Society of the State of New York (MSSNY) peer support program *
This MSSNY peer support program is available to all NYS physicians - including residents and fellows - and also medical students - MSSNY membership not required.  Contact a confidential helpline phone number (1-844-P2P-PEER) and an email address (p2p@mssny.org) to connect with a peer 24 hours a day/7 days a week. In addition to offering a trained, empathetic ear, peer supporters may provide information on specific resources that can offer further support, provide positive coping skills, or connect physicians to professionals for more focused assistance.
