Preparing for the Land Owner Transparency Registry (LOTR) 

Required filings to LOTR begin November 30, 2020. Online forms for LOTR will be available in myLTSA starting early morning (i.e. 12:01am) on Monday, November 30, 2020.

Customers are reminded to review the Land Owner Transparency Act (LOTA) to comply with filing requirements to the registry. Additional policy information can be found on landtransparency.ca, including the Administrator's Requirements for Filing and Applications and the Land Owner Transparency Regulation

System Help added to LandTransparency.ca

A new System Help section has been added to landtransparency.ca with step-by-step guides to assist customers with LOTR filings. The new section includes a tutorial video, instructions and other visual support for completing each form in myLTSA.

REMINDER: Extended Customer Support Hours and Changes to System Availability

Customers are reminded there will be extended phone and email support hours:

  • 8:30am – 4:30pm on Saturday, November 28; and
  • 6:00am – 7:00pm on Monday, November 30.

Customers are also reminded the myLTSA system will be available on Saturday, November 28 from 6:00am to 8:00pm. An extended system maintenance window will then be in effect from 8:00pm Saturday, November 28 to 11:59pm Sunday, November 29 in order to activate LOTR. Customers can start filing to LOTR once the registry is activated at or shortly after 12:01am; land title applications will still operate during regular system hours beginning at 6:00am on November 30, 2020.
