Our December volunteer bulletin is out now!
John McCann from the Lancashire School Sailing Association is looking for a volunteer to help them with some time-limited working from home spreadsheet support linked to a bid they are developing. If you happen to know of any volunteers that could help, please let him know.
► The Carers Service are holding a Coffee Morning and Quiz on
Thursday 3rd December at 11am. Please contact Kulsum Chishti if you would like to join them.
Additionally, they and a number of other local organisations are holding a Carers Money Saving Event via Zoom on
Tuesday 8th December from 10.30am to 12.30pm. If you'd like to know more or get involved, please drop them an e-mail.

Places are still available on the NHS' December Wellness and Recovery Workshops. If you'd like to attend, please do so by
Friday 4th December.
Caritas Diocese of Salford are looking for Support Workers to join their Young People's Service. Deadline for applications is
9am on Monday 14th December.

Healthier Lancashire & South Cumbria have launched a new campaign entitled Cards for Kindness. The campaign asks generous-hearted people to send an extra Christmas card this year to let lonely people know that someone cares.

Veolia Environmental Trust - closes Thursday 3rd December
Grants to constituted, not-for-profit groups with environmental and community projects located near a qualifying Veolia site.

Voice4Change England COVID-19 Partnership Fund - closes Friday 4th December
Grants for BAME community groups and organisations, working to deliver coronavirus/COVID-19 related services.

Youth Music Programme - closes Friday 4th December
Grants to a range of organisations for music projects that increase the number of children and young people who have the opportunity to take part in high-quality musical activities, particularly those who are experiencing challenging cirumstances and who face barriers to music making.

Asda Foundation - Feeding Communities Grant - closes Sunday 6th December
Grants for local not-for-profit organisations to help provide meals to anyone in need in the lead up to Christmas.

Comic Relief Community Fund - Project Delivery Grant - closes Monday 7th December
Grants for small local grassroots organisations to support projects that deliver against one of Comic Relief's four strategic themes.

Scops Arts Trust - closes Tuesday 8th December
Grants to charities for high quality projects that provide opportunities for people from all backgrounds to access, enjoy and participate in the arts.

Henry Moore Foundation - closes Wednesday 9th December
Grants to support the growth and development of sculpture across historical, modern and contemporary registers and to fund research that expands the appreciation of sculpture.
