Dear Community of Saints Families,

We want to wish our school families a very Happy Thanksgiving.  We are so grateful for the opportunity to partner with you in educating your student(s).  We wish you a safe and healthy holiday weekend.

Next week we are shifting to K-8 full distance learning.  Our goal is to be back to offering school-wide, in-person learning again--as soon as we feel we can safely and  properly operate in-person learning to the capacity that we did through yesterday.  We all play a role in this effort, and I thank you for your continued support and partnership!

Our staff has worked hard and is prepared to make the pivot to K-8 full distance learning as smooth as possible.  We are excited to continue providing all of our with students access to a high-quality Catholic education through our K-8 full distance learning model.
The commitment we need from our families:

When students are experiencing learning from home, we need your help and partnership in ensuring your student(s)' are engaged and accountable for their learning.  If students are logging into their live Zoom calls with their teachers, and following the routines and schedules we have in place, students and families will definitely have an opportunity to have a positive experience.  We do not want families to feel like they are "homeschooling"--all we ask is that we are supported in students following our expectations to fully participate in our online learning programming.

If students are not attending their Zoom meetings, and not completing their work online and not asking their teachers questions, it is going to become very difficult and stressful experience for all parties involved.  We already know the inconvenience and hardship this pivot will have on many of our families and their household to household situations-if students are engaged and fully participating in their classroom's schedule, the outcome should  reduce some of the household stresses relative to the full distance learning experience.

Thank you for your patience, grace and flexibility during these strange times.  We are so proud to serve your family, and we remain committed to your student experiencing faith, inclusivity and love at Community of Saints.
Please Note:  Art Club and Drama Club will continue to be offered virtually during K-8 distance learning!  Please see information on how to participate below.
