Meet Our Navigators

At Kinship Connections of Wyoming our Kinship Navigator Specialists are passionate about our mission to support and nurture kinship caregivers and the children they are raising through services, resources, education, and advocacy. They believe it is critical for the voices of kinship caregivers to be heard across the state and beyond so that they can be given every opportunity to provide a safe, stable, and loving home for the children they are raising.

Without further ado, we would love to introduce you to the Kinship Navigator Specialists who work tirelessly to achieve our mission!

Health Insurance Open Enrollment is Closing Soon

Remember the last day for open enrollment is December 15th!  It is during this time only that you can enroll outside of qualifying for a Special Enrollment Period due to specific life events such as getting married, having a baby or losing health coverage.

As we mentioned last month, we understand that it can be overwhelming and difficult to maneuver through the different health care options available to you and your family, but the good news is there are people standing by to help! You can simply dial 2-1-1 and you will be connected to a Referral Specialist who is trained to answer your questions regarding the Affordable Care and the Health Insurance Marketplace and can connect you to a certified application assistant in your area. However, if you feel comfortable navigating open enrollment on your own you can visit healthcare.gov to manage your coverage.
'Tis the Season of Giving

The holidays can be the most wonderful time of the year! But they can also be emotionally and financially stressful. A fun and thoughtful way to ease that stress and bring your family together for a shared activity is to do homemade gifts for family and friends. As you may know, some of the most cherished gifts are those that were made by the hands of someone we love.
