Hello Family,
Welcome to the Holiday Season of 2020! Ready or not, it's here. Feel like it or not, it arrives. But I love that, here in the U.S.A., Thanksgiving leads of the holidays. This special day offers us a chance to reset our hearts and remember our blessings. And don't we need that this year!?
I'm so thankful for my family, and my friends. I'm thankful for the Lord's provision. I'm thankful for the church family at NWC Edgewood. I'm thankful for the Lord's presence as we take this season one step at a time. And I'm thankful that He is working and moving in and through us today! Listen to the prophet Isaiah...
Isa 25:1 "O LORD, You are my God; I will exalt You, I will give thanks to Your name; For You have worked wonders, Plans [formed] long ago, with perfect faithfulness."
This inspires me. Looking back over the last year, I can definitely say that He has worked wonders and that He has done so with perfect faithfulness! Things I would not have dreamed of just 10 months ago, but God has been planning from long ago. Can you see His faithfulness over the last year? Even in the difficulties He is working. Lord, show us even more how You are working wonders in our lives.
What a fitting way to begin the season of Advent. We rejoice in God's great redemption plan, and look back at how He accomplished it all. Starting this Sunday, we celebrate HOPE in the first week of Advent. Jesus is our hope! We are a thankful people.

- Family Service THIS Sunday, Nov 29th. Kids are joining the rest of the family for church in the Sanctuary.
- Friday, Dec 4th, Decorating Day at church. (Beginning at 10am)
