Do you remember back in the day where there were long queues for entering events?  Whilst everyone had managed the pre-entry well during the winter months, there was a bit of concern about the long queues for entries at the MetrO event in Samson last weekend and there were suggestions about taking away EOD, charging extra for EOD, making it credit card only etc.

Whilst those are the rules at many events in the Eastern States at the moment, we are reluctant to do the same - after all, we are trying to encourage people to come to events. 

Pre-entry is available to make life easier for everyone:

We should still be socially distancing at the moment, especially with the borders reopening, so the queues are going to have to spread further apart, which doesn't look that welcoming for anyone. 

Last week only 37 of the 85 entries pre-registered (and yes I was guilty of not pre-entering either so I fully understand that life gets hectic and suddenly the chance to pre-enter has gone).

If you can pre-enter it would be very much appreciated.  Council has decided that we should keep entries open an extra 24 hours to assist everyone in achieving this.

So if you are coming to a MetrO event, please could you make a mental/diary note to ensure you enter the event before you go to bed on Friday.

Hope to see entry numbers rolling up past the 34 it's currently at (and yes I've done our entries for this weekend) and hopefully see you there at the weekend.
