Dear Friends,
Advent Sunday marks the beginning of a new Church Year. Click here for the Scripture readings. On Sunday the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed on the altar from 9.30am for an hour, so come to spend some time in Lord's presence, and feel free to come and go during the hour.
Happily from the 2nd December we will resume the normal Sunday and daily mass schedule.
Christmas Services
On Christmas Eve there will be two Choral First-Masses-of-Christmas at 8pm and 9.30pm. These evening masses will replace Midnight Mass. It is important that you sign the sheet at the back of church or email to reserve a place at one of these masses as they will be popular and numbers will be limited due to Covid restrictions. Christmas Day Masses will be at 10am and 11am at St Paul's.
The Back to Basics study group will meet in church at 11am on Sunday and we will be looking at the Sacraments. You must attend if you are hoping to be Baptised and/or Confirmed in February but everyone is welcome!
Theology Reading Group
We will meet next after the 6pm mass on the 8th December, please see Fr Guy for the reading material in advance.
NEW Lebanon-Link
We are in the process of linking with St Joseph's Church in East Beirut, the Christian area of the City recently devastated by a massive explosion in the port. We had a wonderful zoom-meeting with Fr Gabriel at St Joseph's who tells us that his church is giving out 350 food parcels a day and facilitating a volunteer led medical dispensary from his partially destroyed church. We hope to form a long term bond of friendship with Fr Gabriel and his people and support them with prayer and resources. Our Churchwarden Georges who is from the Lebanon will be leading this new project and if you would like to help. please speak to him. More details to follow...
