Being Church

We've been challenged this week in various places to keep up the good work of making contact and staying connected with people - thanks to everyone who has phoned or messaged someone they don't usually keep in touch with.  There's still time to take up this challenge - and why not do it again next week too!
There are various other ways of helping out at the moment where we could do with some volunteers.
  • Putting Christmas cards in envelopes - today (Thursday) or Friday - Contact Daniel (07909 767505) if you can help
  • Being present on a Sunday morning to run the powerpoint projections
  • Being present on a Sunday morning to make drinks for the team
  • Stewarding at Huntingdon Racecourse on Saturday 19 December for the Carols by Carlight event
  • Helping a group meeting at GBC tomorrow (Friday 4 December) at 10.00am to fix some things around the building
Please reply to this e-mail if you can help with any of these - or want to know more and we'll get back to you.

The Prayer Room is now open again
Thanks to Stephanie for designing another really helpful layout and set of resources in the room.  She writes, This time of year is often a time for reconnecting with God, family and friends. It is a time of Christmas lists and wishes. It is a time for thinking of charities and needs around the world. In December and January our prayer room theme is ASK. Why not visit and express your prayers to God in a different way on any of our three Walls?

If you would like to book a one hour slot to use the room, reply to this e-mail or phone the office and we will get back to you to arrange it.

Stephanie Brown is selling jam and chutney to raise funds for two causes:  www.missiondirect.org and www.lemontreetrust.org
If you would like details and a price list, contact Stephanie on stileway@hotmail.co.uk or on fb messenger (Stephanie Johnson)
