A New Program! A New Year!
And a Return to Buddings Broadway!

 November is more than half over, and the most tumultuous year of our collective lives is coming to a close. How are you feeling?
We're nine months into this pandemic, and vaccines are on the way! Many look forward to a return to normal, but for our toddler friends, this has been half a lifetime. Normal is whatever we teach them.
That's why our Winter Program is called Brave New World (of play)!
What values do we want to instil in the children of today, to equip them for the world they will face in 15 or 20 years? How can we prepare them for the future we know is coming?
Brave New World (of play) imagines a bright future, a city for children, to be safe, and healthy, and connected.
The winter season starts on Nov. 30, at Storybook, and runs until Feb. 26, 2021...
... and starts on Jan. 11, 2021, at Broadway, where we're so excited to be welcoming back our "A Team" - Adriana Hasonova and Ayumi Kato, who will join Aïda Soldevila as she stretches her wings to lead the team.
We'll be missing her at Storybook, though, and while we'll be starting small, with up to 10 spots per hour, we will be hiring. If you or someone you know fits the bill, check Buddings.ca/jobs to apply.

It's been a year since Adriana Hasonova and Ayumi Kato left Buddings to have their baby girls - within 3 weeks of each other! They worked with Aïda through most of 2018 and 2019, and have each contributed so much to our Buddings family. Around COVID, we've been able to keep in... "touch," and loved watching their daughters grow... on Instagram.
So we couldn't be more thrilled to have them back on the team, with their new perspectives in place.

Welcome to a Brave New World (of play)!

 At Buddings, we encourage bravery. We believe the world is brave, and we want the kids to face it head on!
Our Winter Program starts on Nov. 30 and the ideas behind Brave New World (of play) will push our understanding, of movement and flow, environmental impacts, and occupations, enfolded in the idea of an ideal city for children.
It's a social-emotional, physical, and literal expansion into every facet of life as our buddies know it, and we want them to be brave!

Buddings Broadway Reopens Jan. 11, 2021

 If you're looking for flexible daycare in a central spot, Buddings Broadway is on the way to everywhere! Between the bridges, surrounded by transit, and in the middle of the city, our "big house" has a comfy vibe, with all the amenities.
We started our Covid systems at Broadway, and we've been using them for months at Storybook. The centre has lots of space for social distancing, and families can attend at both centres to double the fun, and hours, and chances to get your spot!
We'll have up to 10 per hour, from 8am - 5pm Monday to Thursday, and 9 - 5 on Fridays. We are not planning a Saturday program at this time.
Application for the centre will be available in the coming weeks, but if you'd like to get on the early list, you can add your name at Buddings.ca/apply
