The Holiday shopping season kicks off Thanksgiving weekend with Plaid Friday, followed by Shop Small Saturday. It has all been bundled together for a Windependent Weekend, Old Town's new Shop Local campaign! You are invited to "put your money where your heart is" by shopping local all season and all year long.

We will start Plaid Friday (11/27) at 8AM this year, as opposed to torturing you to come in at 6am as in years past. We will have coupons for free coffee (while they last) from the Espresso Bar & Cafe and free Mimosas AND 25% off for a full hour, from 8AM until 9AM
All Weekend (11/27-29) we will also register you to win $25.00 gift certificates from the Winchester Book Gallery, Tin Top Art and Handmade & the Espresso Bar & Cafe and a 3 month membership in our Platinum Wine Club! Sunday 11/29 From noon-5p we will host an Open House and our friends from the Chef's Market will be joining us selling holiday yummies and we'll have a wine tasting! We have a Plexiglas barrier being built for everyone's protection and will be hosting tastings again!

This Weeks Thanksgiving Recommendations:

What's the Holidays without Beaujolais Nouveau? The extra treat this year? They did a rose! We have both in stock and they are perfect for Thanksgiving, turkey, gifts, parties or zoom happy hours. It's always fresh, fruity and light and the perfect way to bring in the holiday season. Both are $13.59

The next holiday suggestion is Copertino Riserva DOC 2010, yes 2010! Ready to drink now or even buy a few and let them age and see how it will change with time. 91 Points from the Wine Spectator, it's rustic, velvety, exotic spice, med-full bodied with cherry, prune and violets on the pallet. The grapes are Negroamaro & Malvasia Nera. This wine tastes like Italy. It's $15.99 and perfect for heartier fare or on it's own.
