COMMISSION ON HUMAN RIGHTS
The City of Albany seeks applications from qualified residents of the City of Albany to serve as members on the Commission on Human Rights. Appointments are for a three-year term with eligibility for reappointment to an additional term of three years. The goal of the nine-member body is to foster mutual respect and understanding among all persons and racial, religious, and nationality groups in the community.  Learn more and find the full application information here.
KEEP DOWNTOWN CLEAN
The Downtown BID Clean Team has reported residential garbage being put in our street trash cans, causing them to fill up too quickly. Please only dispose of items in your building's residential containers. Dumping residential garbage in street trash cans puts a strain on our hardworking Clean Team and City of Albany Department of General Services workers, and responsible parties will be charged a minimum $145 fine if found responsible for dumping residential trash in street containers.
