Hello all,
What a month November was! The election, the "pause", the "freeze", and now a socially distant holiday season.
Even with all the above, CBA and the Cully neighborhood remained active and can look back on November as a month to be quite proud of. We enjoyed presenting at the Cully Association of Neighbors' monthly meeting, worked hard to disburse over $100k of CARES funding to businesses along the BLVD, and were able to engage several new businesses along the way. Please enjoy the rest of the holiday season in a safe, respectful manner, and remember to shop local during the holiday giving season!

Keeping Cully Open: Update!

"Working Class Acupuncture is very grateful for the outreach and community support provided by the Cully Blvd Alliance during the pandemic. The CBA helped to fund necessary safety equipment that was needed in order for us to stay open and continue to serve our community during this time. Thank you, CBA!"
In our October newsletter, "The Cully 5 Points Bulletin", we highlighted our efforts to acquire and distribute funds to support businesses within the CBA service area. In March, we set a goal to raise and secure a minimum of $250,000 in support of at least 25 businesses by the end of March 2021.
Last month program partners, NAYA Family Center and Prosper Portland provided a large sum of CARES funding to support these efforts. Which in turn led to a community investment of over $140,000 in less than 30 days! This allowed us to not only meet, but exceed our goals. To date, the CBA has supported 31 Cully based businesses acquire approximately $390,000 of financial support.

COVID-19 and 2020 have been tough on everyone, especially small businesses. Many businesses throughout the area are working hard to keep you safe, follow local, state, and federal guidelines, while still providing you with amazing goods and services.
