In this issue:
Life is extraordinarily challenging this year, so it’s important to be intentional about your self-care. Not to be confused with selfishness or self-indulgence, self-care allows us to be resilient in stressful times AND be there for those who depend on us.

10 self-care tips from Pine Rest therapists include:
  • Adequate sleep is a huge stress buster!
  • Build a support team.
  • Exercise regularly–but don’t start with the unattainable!
  • Reduce exposure to your triggers.
  • Check your breathing throughout the day.
  • Stop beating yourself up. Practice mindfulness instead.
  • Balance your eating.
  • Reset your expectations.
  • Feel your feelings.
  • Commit only to starting.
