Taking Time to Think

by Doug Bing, Washington Conference president

You know those times when as a child you were in trouble with mom or dad and they uttered those dreaded words: GO TO YOUR ROOM!

For many of us, this was a terrible sentence handed down by our parents. It was boring. It was torture.

An Evening of Inspiration

How is your soul feeling? Weary? Hopeful? Somewhere between? You'll find inspiration with a virtual gathering of women on Friday, November 20, at 7 pm.

Music. Stories. Encouragement.
The uplifting evening will include music by Volunteer Park Church musicians, inspirational stories, and an encouraging presentation by Chaplain Adrienne Townsend Benton. She's served as a dean at Andrews University, speaks globally, and is known as the first US Navy Adventist female chaplain. Her passion and mission is to bring hope and the light of Christ to precious souls in the dark corners of life.

Inspiring women inspire women. Come be inspired!

Teachers, we give thanks for you!

Our teachers need a little extra encouragement right now. It's been a tough year of managing detailed Safe Start plans on top of a full schedule of providing quality education to our students.

In the next few days, drop an encouraging note in the mail, send a quick text message, or share a small gesture of kindness with teachers at your local school.
