Dear Friends,
This Sunday is the Feast of Christ the Universal King, the last Sunday before Advent. Traditionally it is known as 'stir-up' Sunday, when Christmas pudding preparations begin. Click here for the Scripture readings.
Sadly, Her Majesty's Government have seen fit to ban the public worship of Almighty God for the timebeing. However churches are permitted to remain open for individual prayer and Old St Pancras will remain open everyday for all.
Every Sunday in lockdown, the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed on the altar from 9.30am for an hour, so please still come to church to spend some time in Lord's presence, and feel free to come and go during the hour.
The Back to Basics study group will meet in church at 11am on Sunday and we will be looking at the New Testament. You must attend if you are hoping to be Baptised and/or Confirmed in February but everyone is welcome!

We are in the process of linking with St Joseph's Church in East Beirut, the Christian area of the city recently devastated by a massive explosion in the port. We had a wonderful zoom-meeting with Fr Gabriel at St Joseph's who tells us that his church is giving out 350 food parcels a day and facilitating a volunteer led medical dispensary from his partially destroyed church. We hope to form a long term bond of friendship with Fr Gabriel and his people and support them with prayer and resources. Our Churchwarden Georges who is from the Lebanon will be leading this new project and if you would like to be involved then please speak to him. More details to follow...
