Te Tii (Waitangi) B3 Trust AGM 2020

We are pleased to provide you with our Annual Report for 2020. This year, we have only posted hard copies to our Tupuna Whanau Representatives. Those beneficiaries without a copy at the AGM will be given one upon registration.

You may also note within we have not included a copy of the Trust Order 2015 or TWR Register. I have included these as separate items within this email.

Trustee Nominee Booklet
 
At the AGM there will be a total of two (2) vacant positions. As the registered Tupuna Whanau Representative, you may only vote for up to two (2) candidates. Any more than that will deem your vote invalid.

This year we have three nominees:

The Nominee Booklet will only be posted to TWR's. Be sure to consult your tupuna whanau on your voting decision. Further direction on how to vote will be given on the day.

Attendance Online

We will also have attendance by Zoom available for those who cannot make it on the day. Those who attend via Zoom will not make up a part of the quorum, nor will they have a vote in decision-making but can participate by way of forwarding any queries on the discussions through the chat function which will be monitored by our staff.

Tahuaroa Function Centre @ Waitangi Treaty Grounds
 
This year we will be holding our hui at the brand new function centre, Tahuaroa. Our seating layout will be cocktail style, at round tables so we can go straight into our buffet lunch afterwards.

We want to thank all those who have sent their RSVP already. It is very helpful in assuring our catering numbers are registered.
 
Arrival and Parking
  • Event Parking will be on the Waitangi Sports Field opposite Waitangi Treaty Grounds. We will have one of our team help with parking and directions.
  • There are two options for entrance to the hui:
    1. Through the main entrance and follow the signs along the pathway (this is a 3 minute walk).
    2. We have arranged a shuttle from the sports field car park to the conference centre gated entrance.
  • There is limited space for parking at the gated entrance, so please do not leave your car here unless authorised as it may be towed away.
  • Make sure to pick up your lanyard from our team at either entrance and state that you are attending Te Tii (Waitangi) B3 Trust AGM.
  • Attendees must always wear Waitangi event lanyards. At the end of the event day, lanyards are to be left in the venue. Any lanyards not left will be a $5pp charge.
 Health and Safety
  • In the event of an emergency, dial 111 and follow the exit doors lit up with a green emergency exit sign and assemble as per the event map. When possible, call the event co-ordinator or emergency contact.
  • Tahuaroa Function Centre assembly point is at Hobsons memorial via the black gate.
  • The first aid kit will be located with the venue hosts.

 Venue housekeeping
  • No food or beverages inside galleries or museums.
  • If you would like to return and visit Waitangi Treaty Grounds, the Friends of Waitangi programme offers unlimited visits to the grounds, public programmes and events, guided tours, cultural performances and discounts in our gift shop and café.
  • No smoking within the grounds. Nearest smoking location is across the Waitangi Bridge, all areas of the Waitangi Treaty Grounds including the Sportsfield are smokefree.
