New Regional SEND/AP Group for North East

Friday 27th November at 10.30am

A new Regional SEND/AP group was formed in October 2020, powered by Schools North East (SNE), to create a strong, school-led voice on SEND and AP from across the North East.

This is an opportunity for all Special, AP, and mainstream schools with specialist units. Head Teachers and CEOs have the opportunity to come together to champion all things SEND and AP that’s happening in NE schools, as well as challenge the current policy gap. North East schools can have a strong voice and influence the shape of policy but this will only be possible if we take the initiative together and take action now.

The next meeting is on Friday 27th November at 10.30am. If you would like to join the group and haven’t previously registered your interest then please get in touch by completing this short form

This group will also have the opportunity to collaborate with the National Network of Special Schools (NNoSS), the national network for School Business Professionals working in Special Schools and Alternative Provision in England, facilitated by Schools North East and supported by the Department for Education.
