Tree Sale Partnership with
Big John's
November 30 - December 6
Like so much in 2020, we have had to adjust and make hard decisions, and unfortunately will not be able to host the E. Rivers Tree Sale this year. We are hopeful to be back next year when the tradition will continue.
In the meantime, we are excited to partner with Big John’s, who is offering 10% of your merchandise purchase (excluding delivery, lighting and installation) to be donated back to E. Rivers, November 30 - December 6. They are a North Atlanta cluster family and know what it means to be rooted in community and support our school.
This voucher must be turned in at the time of the sale, and trees must be purchased November 30 - December 6. Please contact us at eriverswelcomedesk@gmail.com if you have any questions

Lion's Pride Annual Campaign: Thank You to All of Our Donors
The Lion’s Pride Committee and EREF Board want to say thank you to all of our donors. Because of your generosity we are able to provide for educational enhancements beyond what is funded by APS. Every student, teacher and staff member will benefit from your gift. We are truly thankful for your support and are proud of the collective impact we are able to make for all members of the E. Rivers family.
As we come into the last week of our fall campaign, we are $5,000 away from our goal of $170,000. If you haven't already, please consider making a gift or pledge to help support our school. Your gift will make a difference.
Please click here to see our Lion's Pride Honor Roll of donors for this year.

The E. Rivers Giving Tree
Please consider donating gifts to in-need E. Rivers families this holiday season. To sponsor a child or family, please sign up to contribute specific gifts or to make a general cash contribution, which the PTA will use to purchase specific gifts.
Receiving families have been asked to include all household members under the age of 17 so that all siblings would receive gifts of love. We are still collecting wish lists so we will email you with the wish list of the family you sign up for as soon as it is available.
Wrapped gifts should be dropped off at E. Rivers either on December 8th (3pm-5pm), December 9th (7am-9am) or December 10th (3pm-5pm). Please contact Ms. Witcher, School Counselor with any questions: tamika.witcher@apsk12.org.

Book Donation Drop Update
In response to our call for children’s book donations, the E. Rivers community has responded generously. This has enabled us to distribute hundreds of books to keep our kids reading. Our pop-up events were a success and it was great to see so many kids browse and choose their own books. Your book donations will also help provide our Kindergarteners with take home books to keep as they start to visit the school, and we will partner with the Giving Tree effort this holiday season.
We are still accepting once-loved picture books, early readers, early chapter books and middle grade chapter books.
Please drop your books off:
• In the donation bin by the main campus front entrance
• Brookwood Hills - 284 Camden Rd
• Collier Hills - 2083 Evergreen Lane
• Loring Heights - 557 Hascall Rd
• Peachtree Hills - Peachtree Hills Cleaners. 174 Peachtree Hills Ave
• Underwood Hills - 999 Mantissa Street (house with red roof on the gravel road portion of Mantissa)
Additionally, email eriverswelcomedesk@gmail.com
if you would like us to pick up your book donations.
If you are in need of books, email eriverswelcomedesk@gmail.com with the ages and reading levels of your children, and we will deliver books to you.
Thank you in advance for your help to keep our students reading!
