Great Resources
There is a webinar coming up on Post-Fire recovery and water quality coming up December 3rd. I checked in with Don McEnhill from Russian Riverkeeper about it and he says they are the experts and their website is full of great info based on research from the expert Pete Robichaud.

Free solar generators available. Emergencies and disaster recovery. They manufacture and deploy portable solar arrays with battery storage to meet the needs of first responders, community support organizations, COPEs, etc.   They provide systems free for a week during emergencies.Amelia Reynolds is a program administrator for Footprint Project a nonprofit organization. If anyone wants or needs to consider using such systems contact her at: mia@footprintproject.org

Here is a link to the press release. A document to help you have a Chipper Day in your community can be found on our website.
OK, I'll say it, we had another great meeting Monday! You are all amazing and so engaged this work. We have accomplished a lot and of course we have a lot more work to do. But the cool thing is, we are doing it together as a community. AND what an amazing community we have! As Thanksgiving approaches (my absolute favorite holiday) I want to express my gratitude for each and every one of you: COPE community leader, fire official, law enforcement, nonprofit leader, and government rep. Every one of you has contributed to the success of COPE NoSoCo and importantly, to making our community safer. Thank you!
Enjoy your holiday and be safe, Priscilla
