Deborah Barnhart byla jednou z prvních žen, které získaly osvědčení pro boj a řízení vojenských námořních plavidel; později velela pěti jednotkám a pracovala s ponorkami, vzdušnými i vesmírnými technologiemi. Barnhart se později stala viceprezidentkou Hamilton Sundstrand Space, Sea Systems International a Honeywell Space and Defense a nyní je CEO emerita U.S. Space and Rocket Center.
Moderátorem diskuze v anglickém jazyce je fyzik Jan Tomáštík z Univerzity Palackého v Olomouci a České akademie věd. Dr. Tomáštík je mimo jiné absolventem Fulbrightova stipendia.

Deborah Barnhart is the CEO emerita of the U.S. Space and Rocket Center, which includes Space Camp. Previously she served as CEO and executive director for nine years. The Center is the largest spaceflight museum in the world and serves as the Official Visitor Center for the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center. Barnhart’s career spans four decades of service in commercial industry, government, aerospace, and defense. She was one of the first women to be certified to fight on and drive Navy vessels; she later commanded five units and worked with Navy submarines, air, and space elements. Barnhart later became vice president of Hamilton Sundstrand Space, Sea Systems International, and Honeywell Space and Defense.
