The Neighborhood Table Without the Table

Since the pandemic, the Roots of Faith core program Neighborhood Table was placed on hold and then returned as a grab-and-go meal for members of the community. Without the round table, Sharpsburg residents connect where they can. The outdoor line on Thursdays is a way for Pastor Barry to meet with members of the community like as Wally Jenkins (pictured at right) from Etna.

Children's Sunday School is now going to be held in Google Classroom!
- In Google Classroom all Sunday School materials will be easily accessible to families, including pre-recorded videos, lesson guides, Bible story slides, and a weekly live Google Meet for Sunday School at 10:45am.
- If you (the parent) have a Google Account, Samantha will send you an invite to the Google Classroom. If you do not have a Google Account, and your child does (through school), please email Samantha (boothsamantha@gmail.com) with that email address and she will send the invite to that address.

Unshakeable Hope Study
Although life is filled with challenges, God has given us many promises that are absolutely true and guaranteed to work. Through God's promises, we can participate in the divine nature. Study God's great promises with us on Zoom at 6:30 pm on Wednesdays (starting Oct. 21) as we study "Unshakable Hope" by Max Lucado. Currently on break, resuming in January. (Relationships Engagement Accountability Laughter). The REAL bible study takes a look at the real women in the Bible and how we can grow in our faith through their biblical experiences. A new online Circles class is beginning in September! Circles is an anti-poverty program that matches low-income Leaders with middle– and upper-income Allies to achieve personal and community goals.
New Leader Training on Mondays starting at 7:00pm
New Ally Training on Wednesdays starting at 7:00pm

Fox Hill Preschool Substitute Teachers Needed
Fox Hill Preschool is currently looking for substitute teachers. This entails working with 2,3, and 4 yr. old preschool children. The hours vary depending on the class. Qualifications: High School Diploma ,18+. Love for children and understanding of the emotional needs of preschool children. With much anticipation I am happy to say that… We are serving "Grab-N-Go" meals at Roots of Faith. Even though we had to make some modifications, we are excited to see our community again! This is a perfect opportunity for you and your family to get involved. Won't you join us?
