Beaverdale Tree Lighting!

Boesen The Florist is donating a large Christmas tree to be installed prior to December 5th in front of the Boesen Mural. We are planning a lighting ceremony on the evening of December 5th. The tree will remain in place and lit until after the holidays. Please bring an unwrapped childrens gift to be donated to Toys for Tots in the bin at Franklin Barber Shop.

SANTA!!
The
Beaverdale Neighborhood Association has set up a direct link to Santa this year to host our traditional Santa reading virtually! Santa will read some great holiday stories for those younger members of the neighborhood to watch on the BNA Facebook page on December 5th. The BNA will keep those videos online through the end of the year, so you can watch on your own time or when you need a little extra cheer through the holiday season.

Follow this event on Facebook to get the most current information!
Witmer Park doesn’t look the same as it used to! Since we couldn’t have everyone over for a formal event to celebrate the renovations, we created a video to thank our partners and show off the improvements.
At various points in the video, the pond appears green because of the growth of algae and duckweed. This is a common byproduct of the dredging process as it displaces sediment soil in the pond and encouraging growth. We treated it with aquatic products that attach to certain nutrients (via chemical bonding) to neutralize/settle the problem.

Is your membership up? If you haven't yet, please renew your membership today!
