I feel thankful to have a lively garden to tinker with, quirky pets as companions, a comfortable home, a place to make artwork. I am grateful for all of our firefighters, and all of our first responders and health care workers. I am grateful and relieved that my paintings on display in the Angeles Forest were not burned up in the Bobcat Fire! Most of all, I am thankful for friends; friends that share advice and information, hopes, fears, laughs, and aggravations, who know how to make a face mask, how to navigate Zoom, where to buy fresh fruit during a lockdown, and so many, many things.
