It is ten years since we had a first meeting, and we have been remembering all the different things we have done since December 2010. Right now we can’t have a party, but we will be thinking about how we can celebrate our achievements in the next month or so. WALK RIDE REDDISH
We are delighted that Walk Ride Heatons will be joined soon by Walk Ride Reddish, in the campaign to improve walking and cycling across Greater Manchester. Find out more at the Walk Ride Reddish inaugural meeting using zoom this Monday 23rd November at 7pm. Contact reddish@walkridegm.org.uk to get the link. CLEAN AIR GREATER MANCHESTER
A Greater Manchester-wide Clean Air Zone is coming in from 2022 as part of plans to reduce harmful air pollution. Have your say on the key elements of the Zone and shape the final plan by completing the questionnaire at www.cleanairgm.com. The consultation ends on 3rd December.
HEATON NORRIS COMMUNITY CENTRE

The community centre has just set up a new social support community café, which is currently offering a take away food service, but in the future it will be a place for people to sit, eat, talk and learn. We will await more news about their plans, but in the meantime please pass on these details to your contacts.
MONTHLY MEETINGS
The SLH monthly meetings continue to be via ZOOM, on Saturday mornings 10.30-12.00. The next one will be Saturday December 5th. Please contact us beforehand at info@slheatons.org if you would like to join in, and we will send you the link. Everyone is welcome.
