Dear JLP Supporters,

Today is the day - Giving Tuesday! By donating to JLP today, not only do you make an impact on the greater Phoenix community, but you can double that impact! The first $1000 in donations will be matched by members of our Board of Directors and Management Team.

Despite what could be considered the most challenging year in U.S. history, Junior League of Phoenix still finds a way to keep moving our mission forward. We are thankful that our organization has remained a powerful force for change — not only for our members but for all the underserved adults, children, and family lives we positively impact in the local community! 

Our members have been able to stay connected and continue the important work of their committees through virtual meetings and activities, as well as safe in-person shifts to help the community in need. With respect to our core membership, we’ve been able to empower women and their potential as civic leaders by:

• Holding regular effective virtual training events on a variety of topics including diversity, equity, & inclusion; donor engagement; effective decision making; and navigating uncertainty.
• We have also offered specialized training for our new leaders, hosted our JLP L.E.A.D. seminar, and kicked off our Community Leadership & Outreach mentor program. 
• We welcomed nearly 100 new members and have been offering virtual training to help educate them about the League and prepare them to become active members and civic leaders.

We have continued to find new ways to fundraise during COVID. With the cancellation of our longtime Rummage Sale in a few months, it’s more critical than ever for us to attract support from you and other community allies and friends to help us continue to develop the potential of women and care for the community.
