Outdoor Movie Night, November 29 at 5pm
High school and middle school youth are invited to meet at the church for a special showing of Elf (Common Sense Media Review) in the church driveway. Instead of a drive-in format, participants are asked to bring a chair and dress comfortably for the weather. Popcorn, hot chocolate, and bottled water will be provided. Movie runtime is 97 minutes so we anticipate finishing at 6:45pm.
As usual we will be following our church's Guidelines for Resuming In Person Youth Group Activities.
- In person youth group activities are held outside and ordinarily limited to one hour per event.
- Non-contact temperature checks of all participants are taken upon arrival by a designated youth leader. Those with a temperature of 100.3 degrees Fahrenheit or less are allowed to participate.
- All participants are required to wear masks. Masks can only be removed to eat or drink (and with adherence to social distancing requirements of maintaining a distance of six feet away from anyone outside one’s family).
- Physical contact is prohibited (high fives, fist bumps, hugs, etc.).
- Those who are sick, especially vulnerable to COVID-19, or uncomfortable with in person activities should inform a youth leader and only participate in virtual youth group activities.

Youth Sunday, February 7, 2021
On Sunday, November 15 the youth group gathered by Zoom and chose next year's Youth Sunday theme: TREE. Just think of all of the stories in the Bible that involve a tree: Adam and Eve eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, Isaiah tells us that the trees of the field will clap their hands, Zacchaeus climbs a Sycamore tree to see Jesus, and more. Want to help lead worship for our entire congregation? Check out the available leadership parts and sign up today.
