Proceeds will benefit the
Arts
in the Black Hills!

The COVID-19 pandemic continues its stranglehold on our arts sector. Since the first U.S. case was reported on January 20, 2020, cancellations and closings have taken place at nearly every arts organization across the Black Hills, and nearly two-thirds of our community’s artists are now unemployed. Organizations we support, derive the majority of their income from live shows, a profession that is very hard to translate to the "work from home" environment. This means many organizations, as well as their crew members, will be out of reliable work indefinitely.
New research by the Small Business Administration shows that “Arts, Entertainment, and Recreation” is now the sector of the economy with highest percentage of “temporary closings” (53.3 percent of businesses surveyed).

Your support during this challenging time is greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

The Allied Arts Fund ensures dynamic, sustainable, cultural opportunities by enriching our Communities through the advancement of the Arts.

Even though we are not together in-person, you are still in our thoughts. Many events are postponed until 2021, but there are lots of other opportunities to connect through on-line classes and performances.

As children chalk their walks and paint kindness rocks, Art has played an important role in connecting and healing our collective trauma. Arts are important and need our help.
Please donate to the Allied Arts Fund.

They are Better Together with You. ♥️

Wishing you all the best, stay healthy, and take care of yourself and your loved ones.

Charitable Giving Tax Deduction

All taxpayers will be able to deduct up to $300 in charitable contributions, even if they do not itemize. It's a good time for those who have a reliable income to make a charitable contribution to keep their favorite arts organizations in business.

An "above-the-line" or universal charitable giving incentive for contributions made in 2020 of up to $300. This provision will now allow all non-itemizer taxpayers (close to 90% of all taxpayers) to deduct charitable contributions from their tax return, an incentive previously unavailable to them. Additionally, the stimulus legislation lifts the existing cap on annual contributions for itemizers from 60 percent of adjusted gross income (AGI) to 100 percent of AGI for contributions made in 2020.
