Happiness is sweetest when shared! This Holiday season donate to bring smiles to families in our school community that are struggling. Spearheaded by our school Counselors Ms Ozeri and Ms Parnell, every year Evergreen Middle School and PTSA come together to organize a Gift Card Donations Drive around the holiday season to help our families in need. Calling all Spelling Bee enthusiasts in Evergreen Middle School to get more information on Spelling bee 2021.

Staff Membership Lucky Draw

We'll be holding our Lucky Draw for Staff Membership on Dec 15th.
Also, we have only a few remaining staff members who are without a sponsor for membership. We request you to sponsor a staff member if you haven't yet: S ponsor a Teacher/Staff T oday.

Did you know that membership dues* and donations to your PTA are 100% deductible?

For 2020, the CARES Act includes a provision that allows donations to 501(c)(3)s (including PTAs) up to $300 per person/$600 per married couple filing jointly to be deducted "above the line" - whether a taxpayer itemizes or not. Remind potential members and donors that they can get a tax deduction for joining and contributing to the mission of your PTA!

*The deduction for membership dues does not have to be reduced if any member benefit received is of token value. See IRS Publication 526 for details.

Urgent! We need Nominating Committee Members

Nominating Committee: Dear Parents, we urge you to step forward and take up Nominating Commitee positions, since our deadline is approaching. PTSA can be no more effective than its leadership. The Nominating Committee is a special committee that holds the key to a successful PTSA! The PTSA’s future is determined by the leadership qualities and people skills of the individuals selected by the Nominating Committee. More details here.
