Did someone say party? It wouldn’t be the holidays without some festivities...and who better to celebrate with than your friends? PWB is hosting Cocktail for a Cause on December 16th at 5:30pm.

This is a fun networking social that is also raising money for United Way's Shelter Shower!* We will have special guest carolers and fun activities and, of course, sharing how to create a festive beverage with a "Special" Cocktailer and networking with fellow PWB members and guests.

Tickets are $30 and include an advanced delivery of cocktail ingredients. All proceeds will go to United Way *This year United Way is showering SafePlace and The Family Support Center of South Sound.

Last Friday night, during the Spike "d" Member "Sip" Cocoa Party that celebrated the year's recruiting efforts, Becky Rieger of Environmental Design was drawn as the winner of the Membership Stimulus Contest. Thank you, Becky, for all your recruiting efforts in 2020!

PSA: Building Development Center (BDC) to Close
at 2:30 p.m. on December 14th

The Thurston County Building and Development Center (BDC) will close at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, December 14, 2020. The BDC will return to regular hours, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., on Tuesday, December 15, 2020. The early closure of the BDC is to allow staff to attend an all-staff meeting. Practical Paths to Achieving the 2018 Energy Code Class - December 17 at 9:00 am

Join us for a 2-hour long free workshop that will highlight multiple practical pathways for compliance with the 2018 Building and Energy Code. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions about the pathways and get firsthand insight from energy raters with best-practice knowledge in green construction techniques.
