Prestigious International Award for BSD!

The annual report we designed for our wonderful clients, the African Development Bank, took home the coveted gold in the “Oscars of international business” — the Stevie International Awards — which celebrates excellence in business worldwide. The competition awards prizes in business management, marketing, public relations, new product development, and more. More than 12,000 nominations are received from over 60 nations each year.
In response to this great honor, the African Development Bank Group’s president and several top executives expressed great enthusiasm for the work. Read what they had to say in the Bank’s press release.

Inspiring Speaking Engagement

In October Beth was thrilled to speak and lead a session at the women’s career accelerator workshop, Taking the Lead. Her topic was how to grow big ideas and use your skills and talent to leave a legacy.
“Imagine you are 90 years old. You are healthy, you are happy, and you are satisfied your life’s work is done. How will the world have changed because of you?” This was Beth’s challenge to participants.

“There are pivotal moments in your life and your career that can serve as jumping-off points for making these huge paradigm shifts. And today, I am going to show you how to recognize those crossroads in your career and parlay them. But first, I’m going to demonstrate with a little infographic that I like to call ‘the magic of creating a legacy.’”
Beth received terrific feedback on the speech and many attendees were motivated to start on their own legacies right away.
