In-Person Activities are Back On!!!

Give BACK: SHARE to show you CARE

Service is an integral part of 4-H. We love our communities and want to give BACK by SHARING to show how much we CARE. Our volunteer club leaders and Teen Council have chosen three service adventures for you to get involved with this month. This is a great opportunity to give back to some of the most vulnerable in our community while adding to the service section of your portfolio. Most importantly, it is showing you care.

Here's a little about each of these projects. Plan now to get involved!!

EMT Stuffed Animal SHARE: Imagine how scary it is for children when they are involved in an accident that requires EMT personnel. They have little idea of what is happening around them, but a stuffed animal can bring comfort to this stressful situation and help them know that the EMT is their friend. Let's help our local EMTs stock their ambulances!! Place a new or gently used stuffed animal under our office Christmas tree or to a 4-H staff member by December 12th and we'll get it sanitized and delivered. 250 N Main B04 Richfield

Sevier County BACKpack Club: Each week 53-65 children in Sevier County go home not knowing if they will have food during the weekend. So, each week this charity discreetly gives them a backpack of food before they go home from school on Friday. You can help by donating any of the following food items:
  • Instant oatmeal packs
  • Granola bars
  • Chicken pouches/tuna pouches
  • Fruit Cups
  • Apple Sauce
  • Chef Boyardee microwavable
  • Fruit Snacks
  • Any snack item
  • Campbell Soup cans (microwavable)
  • Tuna Salad pouches
  • Boxes with crackers
  • Fruit Pouches/applesauce pouches
  • Pop tarts
  • Cracker/PB
  • PB Crustables sandwiches
Deliver to :
  • Extension Office, 250 N Main B04 Richfield
  • American National Insurance, 175 N Main Richfield
  • Venmo: @shalane-stubbs (Appreciated, but not as helpful as delivering food)
CARE Center Cards and Caroling: 109 of Sevier County's citizens reside in our five care centers. Let's make sure they know they are remembered by delivering cards and caroling outside their windows. Club leaders will be heading up this effort with their club members. If you're not a part of a club and want to get involved, sign up for Give BACK: SHARE to Show you Care in Zsuite for a staff member to contact you and come make a card or two on December 9th in our conference room. Caroling will be happening on December 11th and 12th. Club leaders will contact you about the time.
