A December to Remember
As we usher in the month of December and prepare to say farewell to 2020, let us remember that we serve a mighty God! Although we may have faced trials and tribulations throughout this year, we must not forget the triumphs. No setback is wasted nor successes should be taken for granted. It all has a purpose if you shift your perspective to see it that way. Overall, we need to let our praise be louder than our complaints.
Unstoppable You Ministries is excited to share that Operation Safety and Hope is in full swing. With the unswerving support from our donors, we were able to purchase New Testament Bibles, small bottles of hand sanitizers, and face masks. We put these contents in a beautiful gold organza bag with a message to the recipient. It is our prayer the Safety and Hope Bags will help keep them healthy and safe as well as find comfort and hope in Jesus Christ. So far we have donated over 30 bags to domestic violence and drug addiction recovery centers for women.

Since 2017, we have been blessed with having Nakesha Muldrow guide our nonprofit organization as the Vice President. It has truly been an honor to have Nakesha on the UYM Team. It is with mixed emotions that we say goodbye as she will be leaving us at the end of December. We are sad to see Nakesha go but we are excited for the new adventures that await her. But when one door closes another opens, and our Marketing and Communications Director, Liz Morales, stepped up to the challenge and was voted in to fill the VP position. Liz brings her own unique and amazing qualities that will further take Unstoppable You Ministries to the next level. In 2021, UYM will be exploring ways to expand and bring on other board members that will help us serve individuals and families around the country.

What's next? January is National Human Trafficking Awareness Month and we will be hosting a virtual panel discussion on Saturday January 9th. This will be an opportunity to help our audience understand what human trafficking is, ways to protect your children, what to do if you suspect human trafficking has occurred, and ways to join the fight to end this horrible nightmare of modern day slavery. UYM will also host another virtual paint party fundraiser on Saturday, January 30th. So, if you missed the last paint party fundraiser we had in October, this will be your next chance to participate in this fun and safe way to be creative.
