Applications for up to $20,000 in emergency funding will open this week
Gov. Jay Inslee announced an additional $70 million for business grants. $50 million of this is for Round 3 of the Working Washington Small Business grants. The remainder will go towards funding qualified businesses that applied in earlier rounds of our resiliency grant program.
NOTE: Businesses that applied for the resiliency grant program will not need to take any action.
How to apply:
The online application portal will open early this week (the week of Nov. 30) and a link to the application will appear on this page.
Priority will be given to applications received by Dec. 11, 2020. If Commerce is able to fund all the applicants who submit by that time, we may be able to consider applicants who submit after the 11th.
We'd love to see more Kent businesses
on this list!
King County is eager to celebrate and promote businesses that are abiding by safety regulations. In preparation, they have created the All Clear King County Pledge, a health and safety pledge that allows them to curate an ever-growing list of businesses within King County that are making health and safety a top priority.
Participating businesses will receive a toolkit with sharable digital badges, social media verbiage, and printable signage to signify their pledge promise and provide reassurance to customers.
By taking the pledge, you'll also be included in the list of businesses who have taken the pledge and promotion efforts.
THANK YOU to the businesses who participated in the Main Street Tax Incentive Programthis year (known as the B&O credit). Participation in this program keeps tax revenue in our community, enabling us to continue our important work and events in our downtown. We could not do what we do without this support!
