December 2, 2020
• Merry Christmas • Happy New Year •
What a great place to be... on the Oregon Coast.
What a sad time to be here.
There will be no Club Meeting for December,
and no Christmas Party this year.

...Thanx to South County Cruisers for their newsletter art.

Still, I hope each one of you can fabricate a Merry Christmas, and share your love with those close to you. A Happy New Year it will be when when we can raise our hand and volunteer to help put on a Car Show. A Happy New Year when we can meet up early and Cruise the Coast... just to hang with friends and Strut our Stuff.
Rhody Cruisers
A Car Club to Celebrate
It's redundant to say that 2020 has been an unusual year.
For a social club, it has been especially difficult, with social contact being on the verge of criminal activity.

The Good News is that the prevailing conditions have caused greater self reliance. In the absence of Car Shows to attend, and Car Shows to Volunteer with, we came up with less complicated, maybe less legal ways to have fun. Instant Cruises popped up, along with a dramatic increase in the number of "Bay Street Roll" incidents. Let's go to Yahats, and Mapleton, and Newport, and Toledo, and Bandon, and Coquille, and Winchester Bay, and North Bend and Lakeside. Let's just drive and find someplace to take pictures. Let's meet up with the US 101 Club, and Bay City Cruisers. Let's hang out with the South Coast Cruisers, Mid-Valley Mustang & Ford Club, Over the Hill Gang, Stray Angels, and all their Friends. Lets BBQ and Picnic, and drive.

Our monthly Meetings have been outdoors, in the weeds at the 'ol Lotus, and in the wind and cold at Miller Park. Still we munched A&W Burgers, while making plans for the next cruise, and settling club business.

Considering the limitations... I had a heck of a good time.
What are you working on?
All of us have cars that, by their nature, require extra attention. Our members are a great resource for ideas, answers, and helping one another. Sometimes by suggesting a creative solution, or offering advice on carburetors, brakes, windows, & doors. Sometimes that means getting your hands dirty, and helping get it done. Often it requires setting up tables, selling tickets and spreading the word.
Thanx to our members for being available, knowledgeable and skilled.
