#4: December 3, 2020
As natural communities in most of Canada start their winter hibernation, CanPlant has had some developments we're truly excited by. Gardening season may be over, but we're learning that there's never been a better time to connect with plants!

With the pandemic still at the forefront of most Canadians' lives, and late autumn being a tough time for many, we hope you've been able to get some solace from the palettes provided by asters and goldenrods, witch hazels, evergreens, and whatever other natural gifts are accessible to you at this time.
If you need inspiration, our Featured Species this season showcase late-blooming beauties, plants with showy seeds, and ornamental grasses.
For many of you, gardening and appreciating nature are therapeutic acts. We hope CanPlant has been a useful tool for you during its first year of existence. If all goes well, there will be much to look forward to in 2021 -- and plenty is going on right now, as you'll see...
