Advent Windows Trail
The Advent Windows Trail continues - all details revealed daily here on the website,
and photos from each day on the Godmanchester Baptist Church facebook page (in photos/albums). Follow the numbers, enjoy the displays, collect a letter each day and solve the puzzle when you have them all to find a Christmas phrase. For those receiving this news sheet in printed form, windows so far are at: 23 Bluegate, 28 Cambridge Rd, 25 Park Lane, 2 Grainger Ave, 10 Granary Close, 10 Field Walk, 3 The Stiles, 44 Crowhill, 3 Gallier Close, 54 London Street.
Advent Boxes
A huge thank you to all those involved in putting together the Advent boxes that went out to GBC households last weekend.  Hayley Beckett, Hazel Bray, Debbie Mickelburgh, Emma Saunders and Holly Carter put them all together and a team of delivery drivers distributed them.  They have nearly all gone out now - do please let us know if you haven't received yours yet.  Thanks to Colin for the photo of his box - turned into the setting for his nativity scene.
Next Saturday (19 December) at 4.00pm and repeated at 8.00pm
Full details of this drive in carol service with a difference are on the website including booking details. Tickets are £10 per car + booking fee.  Why not ask a friend or neighbour too? This is a big event and we will need lots of help with stewarding. If you can help on that day - particularly for the couple of hours prior to your attendance at either the 4.00pm or 8.00pm eventplease contact Daniel and he will give you all the details.
Details of Christmas events and services are on the website.  Following the success of recent Zoom gatherings we are also planning more opportunities to share time together in this way.  We can now provide log in details for any of the sessions listed below.  Reply to this e-mail, making clear which session(s) you are interested in and we'll send you the details.

The Prayer Room is now open again
Thanks to Stephanie for designing another really helpful layout and set of resources in the room.  She writes, This time of year is often a time for reconnecting with God, family and friends. It is a time of Christmas lists and wishes. It is a time for thinking of charities and needs around the world. In December and January our prayer room theme is ASK. Why not visit and express your prayers to God in a different way on any of our three Walls?

If you would like to book a one hour slot to use the room, reply to this e-mail or phone the office and we will get back to you to arrange it.
