On Tuesday, if your child does not usually attend on a Tuesday and you have booked an Elf Pass with the PTA, your child can come and take part in The Rainbow Factory's Magical workshop. Please could you drop your child off at the Little Adventurers gate at:
9.10am for a 9.15am start for Little Adventurers / 10.15am pick up
10.25am for a 10.30am start for Great Explorers / 11.30am pick up
Don't forget your festive fun/sparkle fancy dress!
We have taken our beautiful angels down to the Methodist church in Burley today to be included in their annual display made up of creations by local nurseries.
Christmas shopping sorted!

Little Adventurers
Little Adventurers were stars in the Nativity performance this week. It has been pre-recorded and will be shared with you next week. They also shone singing along and shaking their jingle bells to Miss Mumford's Christmas song today.
This week they have been decorating biscuits and have been mesmerised by all the beautiful Christmas decorations in their room and around school.
We have been making festive shapes with the Christmas cookie cutters and playdoh!

Great Explorers
What an exciting week in Great Explorers! We have recorded our singing and filmed the music video of Miss Mumford's Christmas song and we have recorded our Nativity songs too! The children all did wonderfully, waiting patiently and performing brilliantly.
We have listened to and talked about the Christmas story this week, thinking about why we give presents and what we celebrate.
We also made salt dough Christmas decorations and used the stencils to work on our pencil control and mark making.
We are really looking forward to Molly's Magical Mystery event on Tuesday. We have done really well this week on our Numicon recognition and continue to practise our counting.

Reception
Reception continue to impress Mrs Hudson every week! Their knowledge and their care for one another is so wonderful to see and encourage.
This week we celebrated another birthday in class as we cannot go out to birthday parties just yet. Sophia had a super day and her unicorn cake was delicious!
All of Reception shone as angels in the nativity recording which will be out this week - each child said their words and sang with such enthusiasm and did so again today for Miss Mumford's music video.
We walked down to the Methodist Church in Burley. It was quite a long walk for little legs but it was great to get there and see the angels we and the other children from the village had made for this year's Christmas display.
