Important notice for Spectrum® customers regarding upgrades: Action may be required prior to January 1, 2021.
Viewpoint will shortly be releasing Spectrum 2020 R3. This release will be the only Spectrum release with programming for 2020 year-end processing (T4, T5018, etc.). Customers on Spectrum versions prior to 14.25 will require assistance from Support to upgrade.
If your server is already running v14.25 through 14.29 or 2020 R1 or 2020 R2 then you are ready for the new version. You can check your current Spectrum version by clicking on 'About' near the top right of the Spectrum screen.
Please note that your current server may not meet the minimum system requirements for Spectrum 2020:

If your server does not meet the system requirements, you may want to consider a Viewpoint hosted server - please contact Tavis to discuss your options.
What does this mean for me?
Viewpoint will no longer perform upgrades free of charge from these older Spectrum versions; however, if you schedule your upgrade with Support before the end of the year, Support will still perform the upgrade free of charge (standard configurations only). Please note, upgrades are scheduled on a first come first served basis and slots are limited, so contact Support right away if you are using Spectrum versions older than 14.25.
All Spectrum customers with releases older than 14.25 are encouraged to contact Support as soon as possible to schedule their upgrade to the latest release.
