Important Notice to Members and Regular Attendees:

This year, we are going to conduct our Annual Congregational Meeting virtually. It will take place on Sunday, December 20, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. The only agenda item requiring an official vote will be the adoption of our budget for 2021.

The Board of Directors’ proposed budget will be sent to you, via separate email, tomorrow morning, December 5, 2020. Please read it and, if you have any questions or concerns, contact Pastor Marilyn (PastorMarilyn@ImaniMCC.org) or a Board member by Saturday, December 12, 2020. A link to the Congregational Meeting will be provided a few days in advance.

Please “hear” this as a personal appeal, from me, to attend this meeting if you are: 1) a member of Imani MCC; and/or 2) someone who was regularly attending our worship services prior to the suspension of in-person services in March; and/or 3) someone who plans to attend regularly whenever we resume in-person worship and when you feel safe doing so; or 4) if you don’t live in the local area and desire to maintain an active long-distance relationship with Imani.

If you are in any of the above categories and do not receive the proposed budget tomorrow, please know that any such omission would be an error of the head and not a reflection of our collective heart. In this unprecedented year with no in-person services since March, we have to rely on our official membership list and giving records to compile the list of members and regular attendees. If neither of those records reflect someone’s regular attendee status, there might be an omission of that name. Please do not take it personally. Contact me (PastorMarilyn@ImaniMCC.org) or, Jim Manchester (ChurchAdmin@ImaniMCC.org), or any Board member to request to be added to the list.

Communion at Imani MCC

In response to expressions of appreciation for our virtual Communion celebration on Easter Sunday, we will celebrate Communion via Facebook Live on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays.

Any form of bread and beverage will suffice.

Did you know that you can see this Sunday’s bulletin online?
If you can’t make it to Imani MCC to worship one Sunday, please download the Worship Bulletin from the website and pray for us during the service.

And let’s say you are one of our jubilant singers in the choir or the congregation, and you want to make sure you have brushed up on the words for this Sunday’s songs. They are in the bulletin, and you can download it every week.

Usually by Thursday afternoon of each week, we print the Worship Bulletins for Sunday. They are usually printed on both sides of a legal size sheet of paper and folded in thirds. They are printed in full color. Then, they are uploaded onto the website. Don’t miss a week of worship with Imani MCC.
