Cheri Fleming

It is with profound sadness and loss that SIA shares the news that 2013-2014 SIA President Cheri Fleming, passed away on November 16. A true Soroptimist, Cheri filled every room she entered with love, laughter and her unfailingly kind presence. Her dedication and generosity to our mission will never be forgotten. Ruth Klotz

With deep sadness, SIA shares the passing of 1974-1976 federation president Ruth Klotz, 98. Ruth was everything a Soroptimist admires: brave, compassionate, and dedicated. A member of SI/Des Moines, IA (North Central Region), Ruth also served as a region governor. Her adventurous spirit and ceaseless effort to help multiple generations of many will be missed by many. Fund Development

Did you know that for the remainder of 2020, any contributions up to a total of $300 qualify for a 100 percent deduction through the CARES Act legislation? Your gift to Soroptimist, whether or not you itemize on your tax return, is eligible for deduction. Don’t wait until December 31—your gift today will help us to finish the year strong, together.
